The institute brings together the best cancer researchers in the Netherlands to perform vital basic research and collaborate with third parties to guide their discoveries towards translational and clinical research, novel diagnostics, drugs, and treatments. In addition, Oncode Oncology Bridge Fund provides early-stage financing to help the creation and growth of new enterprises based on excellent science. The institute's goal is to help more patients survive, improve the quality of life for those afflicted, and ultimately cure cancer. Oncode is constructing a network of experienced, leading scientists and gifted young researchers at partner institutions supported by KWF Kankerbestrijding and the Dutch Government to outsmart cancer through strategic action and collaboration.
