The NZGCP was established in 2002 by the New Zealand Government with the goal of creating a thriving early-stage investment market in the country. They currently operate two investment vehicles, the Aspire fund and Elevate fund. The New Zealand Venture Investment Fund, a local private equity fund, manages investments in fund of funds and direct co-investments. Their focus is on supporting and nurturing early-stage businesses in New Zealand, providing them with the necessary capital and resources to grow and succeed.
