Founded by Microsoft and Angelina Jolie, KIND partners with law firms, legal departments, law schools, and bar associations to provide high-quality representation to over 17,000 children since 2009. They also train attorneys, paralegals, and law students to support these children in deportation proceedings. Additionally, KIND advocates for policy changes to protect unaccompanied children in the United States and addresses the root causes of child migration from Central America.
