He co-founded CrunchFund in 2011 with Michael Arrington and has held the role of managing partner since the fund’s inception. Successful companies CrunchFund has invested in include Cruise, Digital Ocean, and x.ai, amongst more than 200 other leading early-stage startups. Prior to CrunchFund, Pat’s VC experience included VantagePoint Capital Partners and Morgan Stanley Venture Partners. He has invested across all segments of information technology and has been on numerous boards including Constant Contact (public), Plateau Systems (Board Observer, acquired by SuccessFactors), Immobilien Scout (acquired by Deutsche Telecom), and TouchTunes (acquired by Searchlight Capital). Patrick graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a bachelor’s degree in economics and literature.
