The company was founded in 2002 by Steve Thomas and Steve Lloyd, and in 2007, it was approached by a multinational contractor in the water industry. This contractor had concerns about accidents caused by air buildup in water pipes and wanted to train their workforce on the dangers of air pressure. To address this, Network75 developed innovative practical rigs to demonstrate the potentially fatal consequences of not understanding the hidden dangers in water pipe networks. The training courses include lectures, quizzes, and practical demonstrations, featuring an air-powered rocket and a device called the Melon Surprise. By the end of the training, attendees will be able to identify dangerous situations, understand the differences between air and hydraulic pressure, and appreciate how pressure varies in different parts of a water network.
