ACT has developed the Occlusion Perfusion Catheter (OPC), a multi-lumen balloon catheter that temporarily blocks blood flow to allow targeted delivery of therapeutic agents to the peripheral and coronary vasculature. The OPC has received FDA clearance and has potential applications in the treatment of coronary stenosis, restenosis, oncology, dialysis, venous insufficiency, and lytic therapy. ACT is also researching and developing other catheter technologies to address thrombosis, inflammation, occlusions, and restenosis.
