LEO has been working since 1965 to alleviate poverty and promote economic stability in the Lynn community and its surrounding areas. They serve over 7,000 low-income individuals annually and offer child care programs from birth to five years old at four locations. LEO's approach is to support both parents and children, leveraging their internal departments to provide fuel assistance, home weatherization, and access to other local resources. Their child care programs are accredited by NAEYC and their Commercial Street Head Start site has earned a QRIS level 3 status. LEO prioritizes the enrollment of children who are homeless, in foster care, or have developmental delays and disabilities.
