Hani Zeini

Hani Zeini, founded Sientra in 2006 and has since held the position of President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Zeini has over 24 years of relevant healthcare experience in Pharmaceuticals and Medical Device industries, and is an 11-year veteran in the Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery market. He previously served as Executive Vice President of Inamed Aesthetics responsible for both the Breast Aesthetics and Facial Aesthetics businesses at Inamed Corporation (now Allergan Medical). His responsibilities included North America and International markets, with a demonstrated success record of market share gains and business growth in these highly competitive markets. Mr. Zeini had been deeply involved in the Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery market, and its development over the past decade. He pioneered the concept of the Plastic Surgery Ecosystem™ and has been passionately presenting and promoting its principles. Mr. Zeini has lectured and presented at numerous prestigious Plastic Surgery meetings in the United States and internationally. Mr. Zeini served twice on the American Society of Plastic Surgeons Annual Meeting Committee as the industry representative. He also served on the Industry Relations Council for the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Mr. Zeini has been a long-time advocate and a driving force for the adoption of Evidence-Based Outcomes in Aesthetic surgery. Mr. Zeini started his career at the Dupont Pharmaceuticals Company where he spent over 12 years in a variety of positions with increasing responsibility in sales, marketing and general management culminating with his role as Senior Vice President, Global Health Systems. Prior to joining Inamed, Mr. Zeini was the Chief Operating Officer at Acurian, Inc., a development stage venture capital backed clinical trials company. Before Acurian, he held the position of President and Chief Executive Officer at Pharmasmarket.com, an Internet-based healthcare marketplace. Mr. Zeini holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. In 2003, Mr. Zeini completed the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford University, Graduate School of Business.
