Remi Bourrette

Mr. Remi Bourrette serves as Head of Venture & Growth Investments at HSBC Venture & Growth Investments. He serves as Board Member at Unbox the Universe. He joined HSBC Asset Management from the Capital Markets division of HSBC where he headed Analytics, encompassing derivatives modeling, algorithmic trading, and data science. He also oversaw Innovation and Strategic Investments. Previously, he created and led HSBC's corporate Venture Capital arm, which invests in start-ups and growing companies on behalf of the bank. Before that, he was Head of Business Development for Global Banking and Markets, focusing on corporate development and new business initiatives; in that role, he started investing in financial services technology in 2009. He has over 25 years of experience in financial services in areas such as business development, derivatives, asset management, and risks. He has worked in the UK, France, and the US. He has occupied several board positions, one of which was at LCH France, the leading clearing house. He is currently a board member of HSBC Pollination Climate Asset Management. He has graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole Nationale de L'administration Economique (ENSAE). He also holds a Master of Advanced Studies in Financial Modelling from University Paris 7.
