Founded in Berlin in 2013, Infarm has developed modular farming systems that can grow over 75 different plants using 95% less land and 95% less water than traditional farming methods. With partnerships with top retail chains, Infarm has harvested over 40 million plants, saving millions of liters of water and thousands of square meters of land. The company aims to bring farms closer to consumers by placing their farms in grocery stores, restaurants, and other city locations. Infarm has recently raised $100 million in a Series B funding round led by Atomico.
