Founded in 1983, Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Northeastern Pennsylvania (BFTP/NEP) is a state-funded economic development initiative that supports the growth of technology-based firms in northeastern Pennsylvania. They invest in a wide range of sectors including technology, alternative energy, information technology, advanced manufacturing, life sciences, electronics, and nanotechnology. With regional headquarters strategically located throughout the state, BFTP/NEP aims to accelerate technology development, commercialization, and job creation in Pennsylvania.
