Their ECX products implement the functions of 4G, 3G, and GSM cellular core networks in software, making them highly scalable and capable of being hosted anywhere. Quortus aims to deliver integrated corporate IT and communications for enterprises, service differentiation for MNOs, MVNOs, and MVNEs, secure coverage for first response and public safety teams, and mobile network access for underserved populations. They have gained extensive experience in supplying core network solutions to various sectors and are now focusing on emerging technologies such as Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC), Private 5G, and cellular core network virtualization. Recently, Quortus was acquired by CradlePoint, although the terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
