Garth Self
Garth is a member of the company’s Board of Directors and oversees strategic M&A activities for Russian Towers. Garth is a serial entrepreneur with a long history in Russian telecommunications beginning in 1992 as the CFO of SFMT, one of the first Soviet-American telecom joint ventures. Prior to co-founding Russian Towers Garth was President of the Indigo group of mobile phone companies in Russia. Garth is also the owner of the IKS group of companies, which focus on market research and publishing in the Russian TMT sphere. Before coming to Russia Garth was an investment banker in New York specializing in telecommunications. In addition to Russian Towers, Garth currently holds board positions at IKS Holding and the Bistrodengi group. Garth is a US citizen and has a degree in economics from Brown University and an MBA from Columbia University.
