Established in 2007, Golden Horn Ventures is a technology venture capital fund that invests in innovative early-stage technology companies in Turkey, such as Grou.ps, Befunky, Livego, Yogurt 3D Engine, and Yogurtistan. Their mission is to prove that global technology companies can be created with Turkish teams starting from Turkey, which is part of a larger mission to create global technology companies from emerging markets. They invest in emerging markets to understand the underlying talent, know-how, costs, and social pressures needed to do so successfully.
