The company, originally named Vantage Technology, was founded in 1990 with the goal of providing affordable ophthalmic instruments and medical equipment to hospitals and surgery centers. Over the years, Vantage Outsourcing has expanded its services to include a full range of eyecare solutions, from supplying surgical equipment and disposables to offering trained technicians to assist in the operating room. By sharing equipment with multiple facilities, Vantage has saved the healthcare industry over $60 million in capital costs. Currently, the company works with more than 150 clients across the Midwest and other regions from its headquarters in Effingham, Illinois.
