Description

Founded in 2017 by alumni of Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), one of the best business schools in the world, GVAngels has already invested in 40 startups with checks averaging from R$800,000 to R$2 million. With over 300 associates, GVAngels provides smart money to investees, adding knowledge and expertise to their startups. As a non-profit organization, GVAngels creates opportunities for FGV alumni to invest in startups with growth potential and for entrepreneurs to accelerate their businesses with support from highly qualified investors. Bimonthly events are organized where four pre-selected startups present themselves to members who decide in real-time whether to advance in conversations about investment with the entrepreneurs or not.
