Broadstripe, which filed for bankruptcy in 2009, has completed the sale of its Maryland region to Anne Arundel Broadband for $8M. The Maryland system will continue to operate under the name Broadstripe and will be run by industry veterans. In addition, Wave Broadband and WOW! Internet, Cable, and Phone have acquired Broadstripe systems in Michigan, Washington, and Oregon. Current Broadstripe customers will experience no immediate changes to their services, billing, or contact information, and the new owners are committed to ensuring a smooth transition. Broadstripe offers digital cable TV, internet connection, fixed-line telephone, and managed Wi-Fi networking services to residential and business customers.
