DTRA is the intellectual, technical, and operational leader for the Department of Defense and the U.S. Strategic Command in combating the WMD threat. They combine DoD resources, expertise, and capabilities to address the present and future WMD threat through combat support, technology development, threat control, and threat reduction. Their mission is to reduce the physical and psychological terror of WMD, enhancing global security.
