The Italian-based company offers a broad range of geo-information services and applications, including satellite data reception, geo-data procurement, image processing and analysis, information processing and software development, and customized spatial land management and monitoring systems. MAPSAT has a strategic partnership with GeneGIS Group, an international holding company with a strong focus in the GeoSpatial sector, and has acquired the control of MARSec, a center able to plan and receive data from high-resolution optical satellites. The Mapsat Ground Station consists of a X-band and a L-band antenna to receive VHR satellite data and Nasa EOS data and of a UHF antenna configured for communication with nano and micro satellites.
