The firm actively increases the number of angel investors in early-stage companies and supports the formation of new and existing angel networks regionally and internationally. Despite the economic downturn, HBAN has seen significant growth in Irish business angel investment, with €9 million invested in 48 companies in 2014. This investment leveraged an additional €20 million from public and private funds. HBAN has helped 29 companies raise €12 million since 2011, with €6 million coming from angel investors. Based in Dublin, HBAN invests in early-stage companies across the island of Ireland.
