Description

Based in São Paulo, Brazil, Pitanga Fund focuses on investing in Brazilian companies or those with a significant presence in Brazil. They aim to support businesses that address large markets and can capture a significant market share quickly. The firm seeks to work with entrepreneurs who have innovative ideas and are developing new technologies or business models. Pitanga Fund provides the necessary capital and assistance by participating on the board of directors. They have no limitations on sectors or geographies but prefer to invest in Latin American companies. Through a rigorous selection process, they choose a limited number of companies to invest in. Pitanga Invest, their investment vehicle established in 2014, is closed for new investments, while Pitanga Redux, launched in 2020, has capital available for new projects.
