Since 1982, VITA has brought together manufacturers and end-users to develop real-time, modular, embedded computing systems that are reliable, configurable, and supportable. Their standards address challenges faced by computing system designers, such as system interoperability, data security, and short time-to-market windows. VITA is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and works to advance common technology and improve interoperability in embedded systems.
