Adelphi Technology, founded in 1986, specializes in manufacturing neutron generators and optics for industrial and research customers worldwide. They have received a grant for their project to develop a sub-micron x-ray tomography scanner capable of providing high-resolution images of biological specimens. The proposed device will have better resolution than current imaging systems and will enable researchers to investigate medical conditions such as tumor angiogenesis, atherosclerosis, osteoporosis, and arthritis.
