Founded in 1984, Computational Physics, Inc. (CPI) provides research and development support to various U.S. Government organizations and prime contractors. They have a diverse customer base, including government agencies, university laboratories, and private companies. While their original focus was on studying the upper atmosphere and developing remote sensing techniques, CPI has expanded their work to encompass remote sensing of the Earth's complete environment. This includes areas such as terrain, oceans, lower and middle atmospheres, ionospheric effects on signals, data assimilation techniques, and satellite ground data processing systems integration.
