The company, which has been in operation since 1854, offers a range of products for various industries, including food, oenology, beer, animal feed, and tanned leather. Silvateam has a turnover of over 145 million Euros and sells its products in more than 60 countries. The company is made up of five companies operating in Italy, South America, the United States, and China. Silvateam produces a variety of ingredients, such as pectin, tara gum, tannins, tannic acid, and tailor-made stabiliser blends, as well as natural additives for animal nutrition and vegetable extracts for industrial applications. The company also uses the biomass from chestnut tannin extraction to produce wooden pellets for domestic and industrial use.
