The Ministry is responsible for various policy areas, including business regulation, Intellectual Property Rights, competition and consumer policy, the financial sector, and shipping. It also collaborates with international organizations to enhance international framework conditions for growth, participating in the work of the councils for Competitiveness and Maritime Transport in the European Union. The Ministry comprises 7 agencies.
