The organization offers a range of services to address societal issues such as food, shelter, safety, and healing. These services include food pantries, homeless shelters, domestic violence services, senior living and healthcare, affordable housing communities, and other programs aimed at uplifting families and strengthening communities. Although they recently decided to close Freshbox due to insufficient revenue, they have trained 90 associates and served 350,000 meals in the nine years of its operation. By serving those in need, Lutheran Social Services is working towards creating a better world.
