Founded in 2004, Funding London was established by the then Mayor of London to support the Economic Development Strategy for London through SME funding activities. The firm acts as a ‘holding vehicle’ for the Access to Finance Funds, which were initially financed by the London Development Agency, European Regional Development Fund Programme (2000–2006) and the European Social Fund. Funding London focuses on investing in the information technology and apparel sectors across the United Kingdom.
