Jamil Cade
Medical doctor for 20 years, professor of medicine with PhD in cardiology and entrepreneur in healthcare. He became a reference after taking part in the last 5 years of the pioneering telemedicine project in acute myocardial infarction, with reduction of 42% of in-hospital mortality and generated significant economy on public healthcare (saved USD 1 million). Founded his startup w3.care in 2018 after attending the Stanford Ignite Program, Graduated School of Business at Stanford University and his project was selected from among 70 projects: TeleTrauma®, a pioneering telemedicine program for trauma patients which allows the optimization of surgeries and the reduction of hospital costs, making trauma care more agile and efficient. He holds an specialization from the University of São Paulo and InCor HC-FMUSP, and working as coordinator of Interventional Cardiology at Hospital Santa Marcelina and Hospital Carlos Chagas. He is professor of medicine at Faculdade Santa Marcelina, and a mentor of other healthtech startups.
