Description

Meridian provides a software platform for retail outlets, hotels, hospitals, subways, airports, and museums to build and maintain mobile apps that utilize wifi, GPS, and other location-aware technologies. Their patent-pending technology offers an "indoor GPS" experience for both iPhone and Android users. The apps created with Meridian's technology offer turn-by-turn directions, personalized offers, and insights into visitor engagement. Their customers include Macy's, the New York City subway system, the American Museum of Natural History, and the Venetian hotel-resort-casino. Meridian also offers a content management system called Meridian Editor, which allows enterprise customers to easily build full-featured apps with indoor navigation and integration with third-party features. Meridian was developed by the founders of Spotlight Mobile, a renowned mobile-app development firm. In 2013, Meridian Apps was acquired by Aruba Networks.

Nitin Khanna

Nitin Khanna

Nitin Khanna is the CEO of MergerTech, a Mergers and Acquisitions Advisory firm that works closely with the selling process of technology companies. He is also the Founder and Chairman of Saber Corp., one of the largest providers of state government solutions in the country. Khanna started Saber in July 1998 and helped grow it to $120 MM in revenue. Saber's growth was celebrated by an Inc. 500 award in both 2006 and 2007, the Deloitte Fast 500 award, and the #1 spot on Oregon's Fastest Growing Companies list in 2007. This dramatic growth led to a significant investment by Accel-KKR Private Equity in 2005 and to the eventual sale of the company for $460MM to EDS in December 2007. Nitin then assumed leadership of EDS' government business operation that included Saber. Saber was later sold for four times its revenue in 2008. Mergertech is a mergers and acquisitions company focusing on the sales side of technology companies, helping them to partner with the best financial buyers. Khanna is a frequent investor in the cannabis industry. He operated as the CEO of CuraCannabis Solutions until May of 2018. Curacann works with Select Oil, Select CBD, and Cura CS in hopes of becoming the leading provider of cannabis oil to consumers and premium brands all throughout the United States. Prior to Saber, Nitin held a number of positions in Consulting and Education at Oracle Corporation. He holds a Master's and a Bachelor's of Engineering degree from Purdue University in Portland. Aside from his career, Khanna enjoys live music and DJ'ing.
