Jeff Crisan. Managing Partner: Jeff co-founded Silversmith Capital Partners in 2015. In his role as a Managing Partner, Jeff focuses on investments in Healthcare IT & Services. Jeff’s healthcare services investments are centered around innovative care delivery models oriented towards value-based care that can be scaled both organically and through M&A. With more than 20 years investing in the healthcare sector, Jeff has led 10 investments for Silversmith including Iodine Health, LifeStance Health (Nasdaq: LFST), MediQuant, Nordic (acquired by Bon Secours Mercy Health), Panalgo (acquired by Norstella), Partners Surgical, Sound Physicians, Upperline Health, US Health Partners and Within3. Jeff’s career in growth equity started over 20 years ago when he left Bain & Company to join Bain Capital. After several years working in Bain Capital’s Private Equity group, Jeff joined Bain Capital Ventures where he ultimately served as a Managing Director. While at Bain Capital Ventures, Jeff’s investments were predominantly growth equity investments in both Healthcare IT & Services as well as SaaS & Information Services. Jeff received an AB in Government and Mathematics from Dartmouth College where he graduated magna cum laude and an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School.

Todd MacLean
Todd has spent over 15 years as a growth equity investor prior to co-founding Silversmith Capital Partners. Todd joined Bain Capital Ventures in 2006, serving as a Managing Director upon his return to the firm in 2012 from Silicon Valley where he co-led the growth equity effort at Accel Partners. While at BCV, Todd focused on growth equity investments in the technology sector, with a particular emphasis on application SaaS and information services. Prior to BCV, Todd worked at Summit Partners as an Associate and later Vice President, as well as in operating roles at several private companies, including Synapse Group, the predecessor company to Priceline.com. Todd’s past investment experience includes Appriss (acquired by Insight Venture Partners), Ameritox, Archer (acquired by RSA/EMC), Dealer.com (acquired by Dealertrack), iPay (acquired by Jack Henry & Assoc.), SurveyMonkey, Wrike and Yapstone. He received an AB, cum laude, in English from Dartmouth College and an MBA with Honors from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Todd lives with his wife and two children in Newton, MA where he serves on the Board of Trustees of The Park School in Brookline and is actively involved with Cradles to Crayons. He is an avid reader of modern fiction and is slowly sliding back into the misery of being a Red Sox fan that plagued his youth.

With 20+ years of investing experience, Jim has served on the board of more than 20 companies and has led 11 investments for the firm including, Absorb Software (acquired by WCAS), Centauri Health Solutions, Comlinkdata, Formstack, impact.com. Market Access Transformation (acquired by Genesis Research), Net Health, PDFTron, Red Awning, TMA Systems and Validity. Prior to Silversmith, Jim spent 13 years at Spectrum Equity, serving as a Managing Director since 2009. At Spectrum Equity, Jim sourced, led, and served on the board of numerous enterprise SaaS, information services, and healthcare IT companies. Jim received an AB in English & American Literature from Harvard College where he graduated magna cum laude.
