Pycno develops wireless soil sensors and a software platform that collects real-time weather or soil data from a field or greenhouse. The sensors measure key characteristics of the soil and environment of the farm, including solar radiation, air temperature, humidity, soil temperature, and soil humidity, which is recorded over a cloud-based database platform for the users to access. The software platform provides recommendations based on real-time sensor data, enabling farmers to make more accurate decisions about how much water to use, when to fertilise, and more. This allows farmers to increase yields while applying fewer resources, such as water and fertiliser, improving farming through continuous data monitoring and system control to agriculture.
