CryoCor's flagship product is the CryoCor Cardiac Cryoablation System, which uses cryogenic technology to perform a non-surgical, minimally-invasive procedure for treating arrhythmias. The system consists of a catheter connected to a refrigeration console, and it has been approved for use in Europe since 2002. CryoCor's European subsidiary manages the company's marketing, sales, and clinical activities. The system is currently in use at multiple medical centers throughout Europe. CryoCor was acquired in 2008.
