Korstiaan Zandvliet

Studied in Rotterdam (Sociology and Business Administration with a specialization in Entrepreneurship). After graduation started as marketing manager for Mendix, a fast growing Dutch software company. After Mendix he co-founded Symbid, the first equity-based Crowd Funding platform in the world. He is personally involved in several initiatives aimed at improving the investment eligibility of SMEs on a national and international scale. A frequent speaker at conferences and corporate events, Korstiaan is internationally recognized as an authority in the field of alternative finance, start-ups, strategic and entrepreneurial management. He aims to shape the future through entrepreneurship and is affiliated with various (social) ventures in various capacities aiming to solve some of the greatest challenges mankind is facing in the 21th century. Korstiaan is a Venture Partner with Urban Impact Ventures, an urban technology focused transformative investor with the mission to improve urban quality of life in Europe.
