Since its establishment in 2013, APC has funded 170 low-carbon projects involving 402 partners, creating or safeguarding nearly 50,000 jobs in the UK. These projects are projected to save over 288 million tonnes of CO2, equivalent to removing the lifetime emissions of 12 million cars. With expertise in new propulsion technologies, APC helps projects start quickly and deliver increased value, driving innovation and collaboration for a sustainable UK automotive industry. The UK government's Automotive Transformation Fund (ATF) supports strategically important capital and R&D investments through APC, enabling UK-based manufacturers in batteries, motors, power electronics, fuel cells, recycling, and associated supply chains to anchor their future.
