Girish Shivani, co-founder at YourNest Angel Fund, has hands-on experience of fund management & equity research. His robust process centricity, analytical and decision support capabilities has enabled him succeed with his clients as a trusted adviser. Girish has experience in domains like Telecom, Media, IT Consulting & Financial Services. At YourNest, Girish is responsible for developing the investment strategy, for seeing emerging trends, identifying investment opportunities, monitoring& reviewing progress at portfolio companies, and hand-holding portfolio companies for building robust processes leading to their success. Girish has cross-functional exposure across multiple domains including thorough understanding of Financial Markets, Operations of PE / VC funds, Legal Frameworks, Deal Syndication and General Management. He has been involved in multiple initiatives across Telecom and Media verticals involving New Product design, conceptualization, development and launch of VAS and content services. He also has a very strong understanding of Business Processes, Analytical and Decision support capabilities. He is an alumnus of St. Stephens’ College in Computer Science and IMT Ghaziabad. For Girish speed and focus is the essence at the initial stage of a start-up venture. His hobbies include cooking, astronomy and photography.
