EDCO Ventures is a venture development organization that collaborates with universities, government labs, and investors to bring new technologies and business ideas to market. Since its inception in 2005, EDCO Ventures has made seed investments in four companies and has worked with twelve others at the seed and pre-revenue stage. They have raised millions of dollars in capital for their portfolio companies, resulting in the creation of over 65 jobs. In recent years, EDCO Ventures has focused on venture development and venture capital, investing $500,000 in one of their portfolio companies.
