Thomas Wisniewski
Tom is a NYC-based early stage technology investor and co-manager RosePaul Investments, a family office. He serves as an adviser to start-ups and growth-stage companies, as well as to venture capital and private equity funds. He is a member of the Board of Directors for New York Angels, an early stage investment group, and a board member and adviser to a number of early stage technology companies. Tom is frequent speaker at conferences and start-up related events, and he teaches entrepreneurship and seed-stage investing at General Assembly in New York. RosePaul Investments is based in New York City, and keeps an office in the Entrepreneur Roundtable Accelerator (ERA) e-Space on West 29th Street. The majority of the Firm’s work focused on advising senior management in the areas of Strategy, Operations and IT. Prior to joining Baldwin Bell Green in 2008, Tom worked independently for 7 years as an advisor to private equity and venture capital firms. During this period he joined the management team of portfolio companies on two occasions to lead turn-arounds: CEO of HorizonLive (eLearning software platform) and SVP Strategy and Head of Field Operations for IRMC (call-center, and analytics). Tom was a founding member and partner at the management consulting firm Mitchell Madison Group which was a spin off from McKinsey and A.T. Kearney. He was part of the founding group that took the firm from start-up in 1993 to over 1000 professionals and 12 offices when it was sold in 1999 to USWeb/CKS. Tom began his professional career in 1987 at Morgan Stanley in technology development and investment banking. Tom holds an MBA from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth (1993), and earned a BA from Clark University, in Physics, Philosophy and Math (1987).
