Kevin M. Lalande
Kevin M. Lalande has served on our board of directors since December 2005. Mr. Lalande is one of the founders and a Managing Director of Sante Ventures, a venture capital firm. Prior to founding Sante Ventures in 2006, Mr. Lalande spent seven years with Austin Ventures. Before joining Austin Ventures, Mr. Lalande was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company. Previously, Mr. Lalande cofounded and sold three companies: NetProfit, sold to a privately held advertising agency in 1996; Serus, sold to Netopia in 1998; and TimeMarker, sold to PrimeHoldings in 2001. Mr. Lalande holds a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Brigham Young University and an M.B.A. with Highest Distinction from the Harvard Business School. Mr. Lalande was selected to serve on our board of directors because of his substantial experience as a venture capitalist and as a director of a number of privately held companies.

Joe Cunningham
Joe is Managing Director and a founding member of Sante Ventures, a life science venture capital firm. Prior to founding Sante, Joe was a healthcare Venture Partner with Austin Ventures and was previously the Vice Chair of the Ascension Health Ventures investment committee. He is also the former Chief Medical Officer of the Providence Health System and Executive Director of the 300-physician Providence Health Alliance, both of which belong to the Ascension Health system. He has extensive management experience and is recognized nationally for his expertise in healthcare delivery systems, physician associations and compensation models. Joe currently serves on advisory boards for both Health Services Corporation (BC/BS) and United Healthcare. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Quality Assurance and Peer Review. Joe received his BS and MD degrees from Texas A&M University and his MBA from Baylor University
