Based in San Giovanni, Italy, Moschino is a manufacturer of clothing apparel and related accessories, specializing in leather accessories, shoes, luggage, fragrances, and women's clothing. The brand was founded in 1983 by Franco Moschino, who presented his first women's collection during Milan fashion week. Moschino's vision of fashion was in contrast to the surrounding atmosphere, making his clothing line revolutionary in every way, especially in price. After Franco Moschino's death in 1994, the creative direction was entrusted to Rossella Jardini until 2013 when the young and talented designer Jeremy Scott took over.
