Denmark's Østjysk Innovation invested in research-related companies in Central Denmark and neighboring regions, focusing on biotechnology, cleantech, life sciences, information technology, and electronics. The firm invested its own funds and government funds on behalf of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Higher Education. Østjysk Innovation merged with CAT Science Park to form Capnova in 2013, and is no longer active as of 2014.
