Rami Kalish
Mr. Rami Kalish has extensive experience in venture capital and international management in the high-tech environment. Mr. Kalish has been active in the field of venture capital since 1992, and has served as General Managing Partner and Co-Founder since that time. Prior to founding Pitango (originally under the name Polaris), Mr. Kalish garnered rich managerial experience at high-technology firms in the U.S., Europe and Israel. He previously held sales and marketing positions at IBM and senior executive roles at Orbotech (NASDAQ:ORBK), a leading manufacturer of capital equipment for the PCB and semiconductor industries. He earned a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Information Science from the Technion Institute of Technology. Some of the Board of Directors on which Mr. Kalish previously served include VocalTec (VOCL), Retalix (RTLX), Optibase (OBAS), RADWARE (RDWR), and he currently serves on the Board of Directors of WeFi, Surf, ForeScout and Gamingo, among others. Mr. Kalish was, for many years, also a member of the Board of the Israel Venture Association (IVA). Mr, Kalish is involved in community work; among his activities he is member of the advisory boards of the Technion’s Yazamut-Bronica Entrepreneurship & Innovation Center and The Merage Foundation for U.S.-Israel Trade and The educational Center for Tolerance and Peace of the Hebrew Reali School in Haifa.

Aharon Dovrat
Born in Argentina, Aharon Dovrat immigrated to Israel in 1958 and soon became one of the leading figures in the Israeli economy. In 1962 Aharon Dovrat was appointed CEO of the Clal Group, then a passive Israeli holding company with $20 million in capital. Under his stewardship, the company grew rapidly. By the time he stepped down in 1991, the company had a market capitalization of over $800 million, aggregate annual consolidated sales in excess of $2.5 billion, and 32 of its subsidiaries were traded on stock exchanges in Israel and in the United States. In 1991, Aharon Dovrat founded the Dovrat-Shrem Group, a full service investment house the activities of which included investment banking, direct investment fund management, underwriting, securities and brokerage services, and real estate-related activities. The group played a pivotal role in the development of merchant banking and fund management in Israel. He also founded and was a board member and investment committee member of the Pitango Venture Capital Funds (formerly the Polaris Venture Capital Funds), which are among Israel's oldest, largest and most successful venture capital funds.
