Sam Holliday

In building Oshi Health into the first full-stack digital clinic for digestive and gastrointestinal (GI) conditions, Sam is leveraging his passion for redesigning healthcare around the needs of patients and making accessible, convenient, personalized and high quality care a priority. He is also driven by the personal journeys of two close family members who live with digestive health conditions and have struggled to get needed support from the healthcare “system”. He has held leadership roles across healthcare technology and tech-enabled services companies focused on improving population health. Sam was Chief Operating Officer at Cecelia Health (formerly Fit4D), a tech-enabled diabetes education and coaching business that served health plan, employer and pharmaceutical customers to improve outcomes of people with diabetes across the US. He scaled the clinical organization, oversaw product and technology, and led the company’s key customer relationships, enabling the company to triple the customer and revenue base in two years. Prior to Cecelia Health, Sam helped Everyday Health, a leading online health information company, to build a new data-driven health system marketing business unit around its Tea Leaves Health acquisition. His work contributed to the successful IPO and subsequent sale of the company to J2 Global, as well as the spinoff of the Tea Leaves Health business to Welltok. At Greenway Health, a leading electronic health record (EHR) company, Sam developed and grew the clinical trial recruitment, medication adherence and population health businesses as internal startup business units. He was a member of the leadership team from IPO through sale of the company to Vista Equity Partners. Sam holds an MBA in Healthcare Management and Finance from The Wharton School and a BSE in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. He lives in New York City with his wife and two daughters, enjoys playing soccer and avidly supporting Philadelphia sports teams and New York City FC.
