Gerry McCrory
Gerry McCrory is a founder and managing director of Cross Atlantic. Gerry oversees the operations of Cross Atlantic's activities. He works closely with several portfolio companies including Arantech, NTERA and Gain Capital. In 1998, Gerry founded Crucible Corporation, an early stage venture capital fund headquartered in Dublin, Ireland. Prior to starting Crucible, Gerry was the managing director of Cambridge Technology Partners ( Ireland ). Prior to that, he started his own software services company, Information Mosaic, and held various senior commercial responsibilities at Cap Gemini-Hoskyns in Ireland, Great Britain, and the United States. He also worked as an accountant with Coopers & Lybrand in both Ireland and the Cayman Islands . He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds a first class degree in Economics from the University of Ulster and an MBA from University College Dublin.

Venture Capital has been a passion of Glenn Rieger’s for close to 30 years. The work that is done at NewSpring Capital is to be applauded for mentoring companies through the many twists and turns in growing a successful business. Glenn Rieger is a General Partner of NewSpring Growth Capital and a Partner of NewSpring Capital. At NewSpring he works closely with all aspects of its growth equity investing operations and works closely with 7 companies. Prior to joining NewSpring, Glenn Rieger was a co-founder and Managing Director by Cross Atlantic Capital Partners, the management company that oversees the operations of three venture funds. There he was responsible for the operations of Cross Atlantic’s U.S. activities out of its Radnor, PA office and worked closely with six companies. Prior to Cross Atlantic, he was a Senior Vice President for Safeguard Scientifics in charge of business development. In this position, he developed and oversaw merger, acquisition, investment and exit opportunities for Safeguard. In addition, he served as a business partner and director for five of Safeguard's partnership companies. Prior to joining Safeguard, he was a managing director of a boutique investment banking firm specializing in mergers and acquisitions, and President and Chief Executive Officer of a $1 billion California savings bank that employed over 250 people. Glenn Rieger welcomes the opportunity to mentor young and upcoming stars in his firm and commits himself to helping them be the best they can be. He is active in the venture capital community as a board member of the National Venture Capital Association, chairing its Growth Equity Committee, and for the 2004 program year chaired the Greater Philadelphia Venture Group, a trade association representing more than 80 venture funds representing approximately $12 billion in assets under management. Glenn Rieger is a graduate of Colby College and has an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is married to Tami and has 2 adult children. he enjoys Golf, boating and travel in his spare time.

Donald Caldwell
Donald Caldwell is the founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of Cross Atlantic Capital Partners Inc. Don oversees the operations of Cross Atlantic, adds considerable value on our portfolio boards and is involved in the growth of the Cross Atlantic franchise through fund raising, network development, and deal flow. Don has been a principal in numerous IPOs and acquisitions and currently serves on the Board of Directors for several publicly and privately held companies and civic organizations, including; Rubicon Technology Incorporated (NASDAQ); Amber Road; InsPro Technologies; Voxware; RootStock Software; and Sagence Group. He has also dedicated himself to numerous non-profit and socially-conscious organizations such as Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (Chairman Emeritus); and the Committee for Economic Development. Until March 1, 1999, he was President and Chief Operating Officer of Safeguard Scientifics, Inc. where he also previously served as Executive Vice President. Prior to joining Safeguard in 1993, Mr. Caldwell held a number of executive and financial positions, including Chief Administrative Officer of a predecessor company of Cambridge Technology Partners, Inc. (Massachusetts), a provider of information technology consulting and software development; Executive Vice President and then President of Atlantic Financial; and as a partner in the national office of Arthur Young & Co., a predecessor to Ernst & Young, LLP. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Babson College and a Master in Business Administration from the Graduate School of Business at Harvard University.
