Founded in 2000, the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides scholarships, counseling, and support services to high-performing, low-income students from 7th grade to graduate school. In addition to scholarships, the foundation also offers grants for initiatives benefiting these students. With a mission to bridge the Excellence Gap, the foundation has awarded $130 million in scholarships to 1,900 students and provided over $80 million in grants. The foundation's investment funds are managed by a board of directors consisting of seven members.
