Payz is a cloud-based payment and loyalty analytics platform that allows merchants to accept credit card, ACH, and cash payments through a Payz account. By offering a consumer-centric approach to payments, Payz helps merchants lower shopping cart abandonment and increase transactions. It allows established retailers to integrate Payz with their existing payment systems, such as PayPal and Stripe. Merchants can also build their own payment experience, brand it themselves, and drive loyalty through gift cards. Payz is a privately held company that was enhanced by the acquisition of ORCA, Inc. in 2012. Consumers can load their Payz accounts with various payment methods, including legacy credit cards, ACH, bill pay mechanisms, and cash at nationwide locations. Payz is based on ORCA technology, which was acquired by Ingk Labs in February 2012.
