The platform provides artisans in Africa's informal sector with decent regular jobs, tools, loans, insurance, healthcare, upskilling, and certification. FUNDIS aims to impact the jobs of 1500 artisans between 18-35 years by transitioning them into durable self-sustaining gig businesses that can each employ at least one young person. They have launched a consortium initiative called "IngiaBiz" to upskill and certify 1500 artisans in ten counties and partner with various organizations to move the needle on youth unemployment in Kenya.
