Louay Eldada
Louay Eldada is the CEO, Executive Chairman, and Founder of SCIDATEK. Prior to that, he was the CEO and co-founder of Quanergy Systems, Inc. Dr. Eldada is a serial entrepreneur, having founded and sold three businesses to Fortune 100 companies. Quanergy is his fourth start-up. Dr. Eldada is a technical business leader with a proven track record at both small and large companies and with 70 patents, is a recognized expert in quantum optics, nanotechnology, photonic integrated circuits, advanced optoelectronics, sensors, and robotics. Prior to Quanergy, he was CSO of SunEdison, after serving as CTO of HelioVolt, which was acquired by SK Energy. Dr. Eldada was earlier CTO of DuPont Photonic Technologies, formed by the acquisition of Telephotonics where he was founding CTO. His first job was at Honeywell, where he started the Telecom Photonics business and sold it to Corning. He studied business administration at Harvard, MIT, and Stanford, and holds a Ph.D. in optical engineering from Columbia University.

Tianyue Yu co-founded Quanergy and serves as the vice president of products. She has a strong technical foundation with extensive experience in high resolution imaging, 3D laser scanning and microfabrication, high throughput sensing, nanotechnology and advanced electronics materials. She oversees the company’s product design, architecture, engineering and construction to ensure the successful implementation of the product roadmap. Prior to founding Quanergy, she had various roles at established technology companies as well as startups from principal scientist to leadership positions building cross-functional teams and leading technology development and commercialization. She started her career at Affymetrix on sensor miniaturization and high resolution imaging. She holds more than 15 patents in sensing, nanotechnology, and system design. Dr. Yu earned a Ph.D from Cornell University with concentration on nanomaterials and nanotechnology and a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical physics from University of Science and Technology of China.
