Vincent E. Aurentz
Aurentz joined HemoShear in July 2013 as Chief Business Officer. He is responsible for commercial business development, where he is expanding HemoShear’s relationships to executive levels within our partners and leads the negotiation of major partnerships and drug R&D agreements. Aurentz has worked over 24 years in the life sciences industry. Prior to joining HemoShear, Aurentz was Executive Vice President of the Customer Solutions Business at Quintiles where he created a new business model to strategically engage their customers. Prior to Quintiles, Aurentz was Executive Vice President at Merck KGaA and was Executive Vice President, Portfolio Development, for Merck Serono. Aurentz was a member of the Merck Serono Executive Management Board. Aurentz is former co-founder and Managing Director of True North Partners, a venture capital and advisory business focused on the healthcare industry. Aurentz currently serves as Chairman of Dovetail Integrated Systems. Aurentz obtained a BS degree in Mathematics from Villanova University.

Michael Ahearn
Michael J. Ahearn is a businessman from the United States who is the co-founder and chairman of First Solar as well as the founder and managing partner of True North Venture Partners. He graduated from Arizona State University with a BS in Finance and a JD. Ahearn co-founded True North Partners, LLC, an equity investment firm, with John T. Walton in 1996. Ahearn is currently Chairman and Managing Partner of True North Venture Partners, L.P., a venture capital firm he launched in 2011 to invest primarily in early stage companies in the energy, water, agriculture and waste sectors. Prior to First Solar, he was partner and president of an equity investment firm, JWMA (formerly True North Partners, L.L.C.). Prior to joining JWMA, Ahearn practiced law as a partner in the firm of Gallagher & Kennedy. Ahearn currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Cox Enterprises, Inc.; a member of the Board of Directors of Endeavor Global, Inc.; and a member of the Global Advisory Board of Beijing Climate Policy Initiative. Ahearn holds a B.A. in Finance and a J.D. from Arizona State University.
