The organization, founded in 2013, brings together key players in healthcare and innovation to offer Canadians access to novel solutions. MEDTEQ+ supports the validation and integration of these solutions in the healthcare system, both locally and globally, by collaborating with industrial and academic partners, as well as healthcare providers. The pan-Canadian consortium relies on financial support from the Government of Quebec, the Government of Canada, the private sector, and complementary partners to foster research-industry relations. Additionally, MEDTEQ Invest, a not-for-profit venture capital firm, invests in early-stage companies in the healthcare sector in Canada through convertible debt and loan.
